The famous Harmon Tower Project by MGM and Dubai World which was started in 2009 as one of the most expensive privat construction projects ($9 billion CityCenter project) in Las Vegas is now going to demolishon.

As reported by the “Washington Post“  and “The Wall Street Journal” the structure was tested and inspected by stress analysts and found to be instabel. It was said that a medium earthquake could destroy the building.

So MGM decided and claimed to demolish the Tower and preparations and planings for a blast up demolishon where started.

Yeah, thats some interesting news! As an other Patrick Gagnon project we will soon see the Las Vegas World Beer Fest come to life. Like the german Oktoberfest Beer Fest the Las Vegas World Beer Fest will start October 13, 2011 and, thats totaly new and awesome, it will last one Year! (Well in fact it is planed to become a permanent new attraction as i think.)

The LVWBF will open its gates every week from Thursday through Sunday, from noon to 11pm. Its location is direkty behind the Bally’s Hotel and Casino near the heart of the famous Las Vegas Strip so you can get there easily by walk, city deuce bus, taxis, the Las Vegas Monorail or the official festival shuttles.

At the Las Vegas World Beer Fest you will find 500 different Beers per Week, 100 different microbreweries, Live Bands, drinking games, cooking demonstrations and tons of fun.

The famous indi Game Minecraft is heading against its first official release which will be celebrated at the Minecon event during 18. and 19. of November at the Mandala Bay Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.

The inventor of the game Markus Persson aka Notch says on tumblr:

We’ll be celebrating the community, celebrating the release of the full version of Minecraft, doing competitions, listening to interesting people talk, and just generally having a great time. Tickets are 99 dollars if you buy them before October.

The Minecraft game is about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out, so you have to make sure to build a shelter before that happens. So far 11,799,694 people have registered and 3,084,496 people bought the game.

The first 500 ticket reservations will have the chance to win “The Ultimate Fan Experience.” Registration and more informations can be found at the official Mojang Minecon Site.

On August 10th, 2011, Investigators from the Southern Nevada Interdiction Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a Semi Tractor-Trailer on Interstate 15 near Jean.

Evidence obtained as a result of the stop yielded the largest cocaine seizure on record in Southern Nevada. Good job guys!
